How your details are used when you order from a shop on this site.

Who's responsible

The shop you order from is responsible for your details. Its name, address and contact details are on its shop page and in your order emails. TropShip runs these pages and sends orders on for the shop.

What we collect, and why

Your name, email address, phone number and, for home delivery, your address, plus what you ordered. They're used to take your order, send it to you or to the shop for collection, and email you about it.

Who sees them

The shop. Tropicana, the shop's supplier, who packs and sends your order. DPD, who delivers it and texts or emails you about the delivery. Stripe, who takes your card payment (TropShip never sees your card details). Our email provider, who sends your order emails.

How long we keep them

Your name, email, phone and address are removed 90 days after your order is finished, and at most 120 days after you ordered, unless your order is still waiting to be sent (it needs your address for that). The rest of the order (what was bought, and what it cost) is kept for the shop's accounts.

Cookies

These pages don't use tracking or advertising cookies. Your basket is saved on your own phone or computer until you've paid.

Your rights

You can ask the shop for a copy of your details, or ask for them to be corrected or deleted. If you're unhappy with how your details are used, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
